29 3/4in. black powder only 16-bore shot barrels with raised matt rib, banner engraved 'IMMAN MEFFERT IN SUHL' and with acanthus scroll detailing at the breech ends, 2 1/2in. chambers, bored approx. 3/4 choke in both;
rounded bar action with side panels and slender carved serpentine fences, underlever, broad matted standing breech with pin cocking-indicators, manual safety, set front trigger, Germanic scroll engraving surrounding game scenes of roe deer, wildfowl, pointers and partridge, old silver finish, 14 1/8in. figured pistolgrip stock with cheekpiece, leaf carved pistolgrip, the fore-end decorated en suite, sling swivels, engraved steel ammunition trap and including 7/8in. rubber recoil pad, weight 7lb. 10oz. (combination barrels) and 6lb. 4oz. (shot barrels)
